First off, this sweet treat was a finding in one of my VeganCuts Snack Boxes. If you’ve never heard of, or checked out VeganCuts before, it is a must. They have awesome vegan one-offs you can purchase along with exciting subscription boxes.
Anyways, one night I was craving something super sweet but didn’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking, so I picked this package of EatPastry Vegan-Friendly Non-GMO Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake Mix out of my VeganCuts Snack Box.
Using all of just three combined ingredients, I filled my muffin cups up with dark chocolate batter and let them bake through in the oven. After cooling, and upon first bite, I was filled with that happy feeling after you taste sweet chocolate crystals baked into warm, flaky bread.
Though I opted to go the muffin/cupcake without frosting route with this cake mix, it’s supposedly very versatile. They say you can use it for cake, muffins, brownies, cupcakes and more.
I highly recommend picking up a package of this and experimenting at home.
