• Unsweetened Apple Sauce – For approximately each egg you would have used, use 1/4 a cup of unsweetened apple sauce instead! It’s great because the apple sauce doesn’t add any extra detectable taste to your concoction.

    • Bananas – Cut a banana in half and right there you have an egg substitute, 1 full banana equaling 2 eggs. Just be aware that if you choose to use bananas it will add that extra taste to your baked goods. Delicious as the taste is, it might not be what you’re going for with your recipe, especially if the banana is very ripe.

    • Go out and purchase a pre-made egg replacer mixture – Depending on the company, and quality, these will vary in price from affordable to quite expensive. If you have other food specifications you need to look out for, gluten-free for example, make sure to thoroughly read the label as some do contain gluten.
